Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Top of the mornin to ya!
My kids were so excited this morning to go to school and pinch any forgetful friend that didn't wear green! And of course one more reason to party at school! My boys classes don't participate in the festivities, but my little girl still does and boy do they go all out! While at recess the interns come in and mess up the class, leave gold tokens around and help the moms set up for the party!
My contribution to sugaring up the kids this year is green chocolate covered marshmallows with green sugar sprinkles. SIDE NOTE: I am normally the responsible one who brings cut up veggies or fruit. Just felt a little rebellous this time!
Here is what you need to begin:
Jumbo Marshmallows
Wilton's Candy Melts
Lollipop sticks
Sprinkles of your choice
Next, put 2-3 marshmallows on a stick and freeze
Melt the candy on a double boiler until smooth..
Then spread the chocolate over the marshmallows until nicely coated. I tap my on the side of the bowl for a smoother appearance. Once coated, sprinkle sugar all over and then refridgerate until the candy is set again. Wrap them up in little plastic bags and finish off with ribbon!
This should be a big hit!
I hope everyone has a pinch free day!

My End Tables
Today I am participating in Tabletop Tuesdays hosted by Barb at Grits and Glamour! Please check out her beautiful blog and all the other inspiring bloggers!
My couch end tables are as hardworking and dedicated as one should expect! We destroy LIVE in our home. My home is small and the living room, dining and kitchen are all open to one another. We use the rooms as if they were one. My kids and I love to veg out, watch a movie, and even eat in front of the TV from time to time (ok, more than we should). My hubby travels alot with work and I like to sleep on the couch when he is gone. So my end tables then double as a night stand. Like I said they are hardworking!
But they are also pretty! I like to play around and redo my little vinettes when the seasons change or when I just have way to much time on my hands!
I know the couch is fugly! We have another set in storage that one day will see light again.. Until then, I have plans to make more pillows to distract from the ugly, microsuede, dingy, but comfy bed couch.
Awe, what a cute couple!
My sweet babies!
Ok so this is not what the tables look like all the time! Normally there are remotes, phones, ipods, Nintendo DS', glasses of sweet tea, books and loads of magazines everywhere! I am constantly changing them around! But I do dearly love my end tables. These tables are like a good friend that's always nice to have around!

Finesse Your Nest Giveaway!
Kendall at Finesse Your Nest is having her 100th post Giveaway! Click on the link to view her beautiful creative coastal living room! She is giving away a shell topiary (oh how I love topiaries) and some of her "ratty jute balls" (sounds like a line from Saturday Night Live!). I am working on a beachy bathroom for the kids and hope I win! Enjoy!
My New Wreath!
I finally took down my Christmas wreath on Saturday. My old wreath that I normally put up in between special occasions was just too big! So what to put up??? I saved the wreath form that held together my Christmas wreath in case I got a bright idea! Well necessity came a callin' and low and behold I put together a new wreath!
Here is the wreath form:
And the pile of Silk leaves with a few apples and pomegranites:
I made a bow from black and white polka dot ribbon .. and tada!
Instant wreath!
I like it! It will work for a little while until I get bored with it and need a happy spring welcoming wreath!

Inexpensive Art Solutions!
My daughter Molly turned 8 in December. My great idea was to give her a surprise room makeover as a gift! Long story short, the room was not done prior to her birthday :-( My inspiration was the hot pink and black used in the Barbie packaging. I painted her walls Very Bery from Valspar at Lowes. 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of paint later (and a cold snap making the paint difficult to cure)!! Oh, I forgot to mention the 4 coats of white paint on the ceiling (another long story)! With all of this said, I really wanted to get the Barbie art work found at Pottery Barn Kids. Budget restraints prevailed and I had to go with plan B. I found the cutest Babie fashion model calendar in a kiosk in the mall. Next to find frames.. I found black frames with white matting at the dollar store for $6! Instant artwork!
Here are some pics of the process:
I was unable to get the best pics! Hope you enjoyed my metamorphasis!
Please keep coming back to visit me! I love comments and suggestions from you all!

China Cabinet Vinette's
Today I am joining in on Grits & Glamour's Tabletop Tuesdays! Thanks Barb for hosting such eye candy! Check her blog out! She is truly one of my favorite blogs to visit.
First I apologize for the horrible pics! I cannot seem to get good clear pics of my china cabinet. Since the weather here in Sunny Florida is sooo cold, I did a full display of white and silver. I used my Lenox Moonspun China along with lots of silver pieces that were my grandmothers.
My crystal is Lido by Fostoria. It again was my grandmothers. I love the starbursty look it has.
Sometimes I see starburst, fireworks or palm trees.
And finally, my M ornament from the bins at Michaels. I forgot to put it up with my ornaments,
but love how it works with my white and silver theme!
Hope you enjoyed my little vinettes!
